Kennt sich denn jemand mit den Android Browsern aus, die auf Firefox basieren und auf Datenschutz und Sicherheit getrimmt sind?
Denn ich suche eine gute Alternative zu dem FOSS Browser und ggf. dem iodéOS Browser, der aktuell gehalten wird.
Deshalb habe ich auch mal den Android Browser IronFox ausprobiert, der von LibreWolf als Alternative empfohlen wird, da es für den LibreWolf Browser leider keine Android Version gibt.
Und was ist die bessere Wahl zwischen dem FOSS Browser, iodéOS Browser und auch dem IronFox Browser in Sachen Datenschutz, Sicherheit und Aktualität?
Ich denke mal der IronFox Browser, weil er der Nachfolger von dem Mullvad Browser ist oder etwa doch nicht und an sich gefällt er mir auch schon mal besser als der FOSS Browser und der iodéOS Browser, obwohl er nicht gerade leichgewichtig ist im Vergleich zum FOSS Browser, genauso der iodéOS Browser als Schwergewicht?

I went to the MCA in Sydney the other day and saw these fabulous sculptures by Ricky Swallow called Bent Forms. The pictures don't really show the size but they are as big as me. It seemed appropriate to share here in the #forkiverse

If you are looking to run a child process in the background while returning quickly without killing the child process in Python, os.fork() works very well. I'm using this strategy to list all the s3 objects of a bucket to return only the last one, which takes 8min30s. Of course we don't want a synchronous call here.

As pointed out in my last article, the developers of UPBGE ( a game engine I use for my game ) decided to include slop-code into the software. And starting with version 0.5 it is "tainted by Ai". After that post I found a small repository on codeberg, which lists various other programs that are also sloppy. At first I sunk in with the feeling of dread and a desire to give up. Even the Linux Kernel was mentioned.
But then...

I really, really, really want a #Firefox #fork that is nothing but Firefox minus AI crap.
No new UI,
No quirky onomatopoeic name,
No tightarse security policies that makes it harder to use.
JUST Firefox, before all of the antifeatures.
P.S. #Waterfox looks like a good candidate. I like LibreWolf, but it's too locked-down for my needs.
