Atualmente uso #Debian e considerando migrar para o #Devuan (sem o #systemd). Estou aprendendo a programar (meus horizontes são #Python e #Java (por diversos motivos) e quero usar o mínimo de interface gráfica possível ao longo do tempo. Tenho em vista utilizar o #GNUEmacs e atualmente uso o gerenciador de janelas #i3wm com o #alacritty (de emulador de terminal). #blambers

As many workers I must use #Windows daily, useless to say that it essentially a bag of crap...
I personally stopped to use it since 2009, I really forgot how bad can be for other tasks until my son decided to play videogames on its laptop...
While I am totally against it we allowed him because the excellent grades, so basically for school he must use #Devuan / #Linux and to play videogames he reboots in Windows and steam, although he plays mostly #roblox (🤢) with his friends.
And in Windows happens whatever craziest thing... And I am surprised how shitty can be Windows to do anything from graphics to play...
But even more surprise how videogamers cheat about Windows... It is the shittiest OS evere but they want to looks like software expert so they confuse high-end hardware with optimization, only because you need 3/4 of it only to run Windows smooth...
On any other OS but not the commercial ones, including: #Android; #ChromeOS; #MacOS; you get better performance.
I dare to say the #enshittification started with #WindowsVista...

Puh, der erste Start nach der Neuinstallation legte schonungslos offen, dass ich unkonzentriert war. Bei einem Schritt von zentraler Bedeutung habe ich fahrig weitergeklickt. Ergebnis: grub fehlte 😣

So … ein letzter Blick auf #ArchLinux 🧐 Beim nächsten Hochfahren des PCs startet das Live-System von #Devuan #Linux. Was auf dem alten Notebook gut funktioniert, sollte auf dem erheblich besser ausgestatteten PC noch zufriedenstellender sein.
Und wie ich ja gestern postulierte, steckt in jedem Neuanfang die Chance auf neues Glück 🥰
Beim vorigen Post hatte ich nur deswegen #emacs ins Spiel gebracht, weil ich mit #vim und #vimwiki zwei inzwischen recht umfangreiche #wiki|s aufgebaut habe und dachte, sie damit leichter zu übernehmen. Da ich für beide #Markdown nutze, kann ich auch ganz andere Programme wie zB #ghostwriter oder #zim verwenden. Für #ledger finde ich sicher auch noch was.
Mal schauen, ist ja ein nebenbei laufendes Projekt ohne Priorität.
Wo ich dabei bin ein frisches #Linux zu installieren, kam mir heute die Idee, ob ein System ohne #github Bestandteile möglich ist. Zuerst so offenkundige wie #vim Plugins. Gibt's die auch woanders? Hilft ein Wechsel zu #emacs? Wo liegen dessen Erweiterungen?

KDE team has removed FreeBSD support due to systemd/logind. So, the question is can i use KDE without systemd even though it is linux? I mean there are #devuan #artix #guix and the others.
