Over the last few days ive been moving away from using full compiled sprite sheets, and using sheets of individual limbs that are 'rigged' together. This new method is going to require a lot less art and makes implementing cosmetics and armor a 1000x easier :)

Anyone #animating on #linux? I'm tryna make lil gifs for emotes for funsies.
TLDR: I mainly want to transform drawn layers over ranges of frames, & then export to Gif format.

I got the hang of Krita and krita's transform mask tool, cluuunky as it is. It crashes on me often during autosaves.

Should I learn opentoonz? I installed the morevna appimage, but am kinda overwhelmed by all the, uh, bespoke terms opentoonz uses for all its features. I understand the idea of drawing keyframes & frames in-between, but… It seems like a lot to dig into just to find and learn about the few tools I want. @.@

Silent, two minutes thirty of just what me being at a computer is like. I write a closure that has an example graph tree in it, open the frame, hand-write a tree into the interactor the frame draws, start a background loop that randomly changes between graph frames.

The code demonstrates a way of asyncronously running animations in mcclim.
