What #linux distro has #KDE with the best "plug and play" user experience?

I am on #kubuntu right now and distro update gui is not there... When I want to unpack a folder in archive using ark, path picking dialog seems to want me to pick a file not a folder where to unpack...

Haue ich auf den Dienst-Laptop (Dell Detachable) #Ubuntu oder #kubuntu ?
#Gnome soll ja ressourcenschonender sein, was bei mickrigen 8GB RAM vielleicht ganz gut wäre, aber an sich find ich #KDE schöner, weil etwas mehr anpassbar. Bei Gnome kann man ja fast nichts verändern am Aussehen.

Je conseillais pas #Kubuntu car moins loti que ubuntu mais apparament elle s'en sort bien aussi

Et le support de secureboot c'est juste hyper important, il a raison de trouver ca ouf sur sur 400 distribution y'en a une ou deux qu'est foutu de supporter un truc aussi basique...

Voilà ou ca mène de s'éparpiller :
400 trucs mal finis au lieu de 20 a 50 d'une fiabilité et d'jne cohérence a toute épreuve...

Par contre les #snap faut les bannir, si c possible, c pas libre.

@jeremy My spouse's perfectly functional and not all that old laptop hit "end of 10" in the fall and is now running #Kubuntu

We normally think of KDE as being a somewhat "heavy" desktop user interface in the Linux world, but they are absolutely amazed at the performance boost. It's like a brand new computer. :)

The other day, I booted up a #Ubuntu #2510 just to see how things are on the #Gnome #desktop. That #DestopEnvironment is not for me. #Kubuntu #2510 looked great and felt great, made me excited for #2604 #LTS. We are so lucky to have so much choice for pretty much everything. I think it is about time to fire up #virtualbox and take other flavours and #distros for a spin. It has been years since I have used #Xubuntu and longer for #Lubuntu. #OpenSource is just the best 😀
