Quiero montar un streamer de audio en red (wifi) con una tablet antigua que tengo ya en el cajon del olvido.
He conseguido que el movil pueda enviar la musica a los altavoces activos a traves de chromecast usando mi streamer de red de la marca WiiM pero ahora necesito que la tablet actue como si fuera ese streamer de audio en red para que envie la señal cableada de audio a los altavoces y asi no tener que comprar otro WiiM para una segunda pareja de monitores activos que he adquirido en el mercado de segunda mano.
Con esto le daria una segunda vida a la tablet, generaria menos basura electronica y me ahorraria la pasta del streamer de audio.
Resumiendo, ¿se puede enviar señal de audio por wifi a la tablet usando alguna aplicacion de android? He probado con #Chromecast pq mi reproductor de audio (Poweramp), lo admite, pero me vale cualquier sistema que permita el envio de audio de alta calidad y sin perdidas por wifi.
He descartado el audio por bluetooth porque aun no ha conseguido equipararse al estandar del cd o musica sin perdidas como flac por ejemplo.

Do you have only cell phone internet access and everyone and their mother tells you that you needed 2 phones to control the chromecast and have one phone and the chromecast use the other phone's hotspot?
That one was a tough challenge to master.
Obwohl Chromecast praktisch ist, der wird alt, ist Google: soll weg.
Idee:
- alter Laptop, Linux
- Deckel zu, am Fernseher
- Browser
- Bookmarks: alle Mediatheken, Streamingdienste, Videoquellen die man schaut
- Steckdosenleiste für beides
- Linux bootet, logt sich ein, Browser Vollbild
- Steuerung über .... eine Infrarotfernsteuerung eines Fernsehers, die man noch hat
IR-Empfänger und Decodersoftware für Linux???

Den YouTube-Button auf meiner Chromecast-Fernbedienung auf die arte-Mediathek umgemappt. Ich weiß, ist immernoch ein Chromecast, aber so schaue ich weniger YouTube und mehr arte.
Was watching "Dinner for one" via ARD mediathek to Chromecast device. While it is usually reliable, this time the stream stuttered every some seconds to fill the buffer - seems the endpoint was too slow.
Luckily, I had already downloaded a copy of the show into my personal Jellyfin, so I could come to rescue the evening by quickly starting Streamyfin (iOS Jellyfin client w/ Chromecast support) and stream it from my local server to my Chromecast.

#Stupidity: you can't cast from a Mac to #ChromeCast. Google blocks installing the Home IOS apps on #macOS (Apple Silicon, so it is actually doable) and only allow casting a tab from their Chrome browser, which sucks conceptually, but you can't even visit Youtube from that tab as their device detects and opens up the built-in app to show some ads.
Of course, there is a proper casting thingy instead of their enterprise crap:
