Ach, ich hab immer via Shell geguckt, ob bei mail was bei username@localhost angekommen ist (für privaten Rechner brauch ich kein Forwarding an richtige Mail).
Gerade der Gedanke, ich kann die einfach in Thunderbird als lokalen Ordner anzeigen. Mit Flatpak grob so
1. Bei Flatpak Zugriff auf Ordner /var/mail erlauben

The idea is to MitM between my IMAP server and Claws Mail. The proxy would ignore the password and instead use #TLS with a client #certificate to authenticate me (mTLS style).
This way, there's one less #password to store in RAM and accidentally exfiltrate.
As much as I like the Claws UI, it's crashy and I don't trust its #security a lot. #RiiR anyone :P?

Под Linux мы можем сгенерировать сертификат командой mkcert или OpenSSL. Единственная проблема в том, что браузер не доверяет такому сертификату, поскольку он не подписан доверенным УЦ. Поэтому нужно ещё запустить и настроить собственный УЦ, который подписывает наши сертификаты — и добавить этот УЦ в список доверенных центров сертификации УЦ (или браузера).

And MAMP pro 7 still won’t work, because why would you sell a functional product. It won’t even accept my valid license. Because the update window closed? What the fuck? I paid for both mind you… 🤬
So what’s the right alternative for MAMP? Something simple to use. For macOS. Preferably without screw-you licensing.
