Eu usava o FinalCut no Mac e, quando voltei ao linux ainda insisti no LightWorks, mas o KDEnlive é mais prático e rápido.
Me atrevo a decir que #Kdenlive ha empezado a ir a velocidad de crucero entre los editores de vídeo publicados como código abierto.

Интересно, что последнее видео по руфингу, я монтировал через DaVinci Resolve, без какого либо опыта в покраске, склеиваний, т.п, но недавно для себя открыл тот факт, что в #kdenlive можно так же заниматься цветокоррекцией, есть так же трекинг, и похожие функций, что в premier pro, DaVinci Resolve, думаю можно заняться его изучением и полным переходом на данный инструмент. Посидев вчера немного потыкал, сделал цветокоррекцию небольшого видео отрывка результатом доволен. Удивлен, что даже бесплатные инструменты могут конкурировать даже со всеми популярными и известными программами для монтажа. Заодно интересно посмотреть как работает шумоподавление в программе получая картинку чище с отключённым шумоподавлением в GoPro через прошивку GoPro LABS.

@argv_minus_one i am thoroughly happy with my 12yo PC, as the 2025 windows 10 end approached I didn't have the cash spare to replace the system so decided to dual boot with #debian. I mostly only play games on steam, so I was ASTOUNDED that my Carrier Command 2 game ran with 20% higher FPS! same game exe and hardware!
super pleased with this i spent £50 on a old i7 CPU on ebay. This thing rocks along! I'm even doing video editing with #kdenlive

Je filme des vidéos en 4K, afin de pouvoir recadrer et crop et récup mes rushs exactement en 1920x1080, pour utilisation ultérieure, et ce, sans re-scale la vidéo. J'ai installé Kdenlive hier, et testé le zoom x2 (pour matcher la résolution).
Est-ce que c'est bien correct ? J'ai peur que ce soit lossy (même si ça devrait pas en théorie? :thonk:). Quelqu'un pour me rassurer ?
Alternativement, si vous avez une proposition pour une manière plus simple de procéder ça m'intéresse aussi ! Merci d'avance 🌠

The Titler Clip App inside Kdenlive looks pretty good. It is a built-in tool that lets you create and edit text-based titles, lower thirds, and simple graphic overlays directly within your video project.

I thought it might be fun to share the current Terminal Tilt workload and the state of things for February 2026.
We recently crossed 1000 subscribers (currently at 1033) and 100,000 views since starting the channel in December. That is pretty amazing and it shows there is a thirst for honest #NoAI Linux based videos that explore all things technology (especially privacy).
The "Sovereign Authentication" Series Video 0 of the hardware security key series is already live (published Feb 9!). Today was a heavy production day, I recorded the voiceovers for 3 of the 4 remaining videos. I have one more VO to capture, and then the heavy lifting begins in Kdenlive.
Each video usually takes me between 2 and 8 hours to edit. I’ve already finished the thumbnails, so once that final recording is done (hopefully tomorrow, depending on life in general), I’m jumping straight into the timeline.
Once the security series wraps, I am looking at my 4-year-old Keychron Q1 V2. I have heavily modified it, lubed Gateron Ink v2 Blacks, custom padding, and keycaps. That video will serve as a primer for future keyboard reviews, followed immediately by a look at the Epomaker TH99 Pro currently sitting in the box next to my desk.
In the future, I am also working on:
A look at the Divoom Pixoo 64 (pixel art display) and the Fanttik E2 Ultra electric screwdriver.
A giant overview of ~50 Debian-based (non-Ubuntu) distros. I have had requests for "shiny" trend chasing distros like CachyOS, but I am resisting chasing the views.
I am researching Linux-friendly networking equipment for future reviews, probably going to look at a few switches.
I am also exploring the potential of doing live streaming. I have concerns about doing it on YouTube as their algorithm can penalize your long-form videos when you post VODs from past streams. I might just start streaming on Twitch, but that audience doesn't seem to fit what we are building. OwnCast would be ideal but I don't think my homelab is ideal for that setup. I could stream on PeerTube but I am also worried about filling up my allotted storage with VODs on my instance.
Some ideas I have had for a live streaming are things like maintenance of my Thinkpad by cleaning and reapplying thermal paste, or we could do "Sysadmin Sundays Mornings" where I update and maintain all of the systems I am responsible for, or even blindly exploring obscure and unique distros together. We could also just do some Linux Gaming. We will see, no promises.
I have a .md file overflowing with ideas, so there is plenty more to come. Thanks for following the journey!

El editor de videos #kdenlive suele actualizarse bastante a menudo, es el que uso hace ya varios años, he probado otros muy buenos como openshot y shoutcut, pero realmente me siento a gusto con sus prestaciones.Su web oficial es y siempre recomiendo consultarla.Desde su página de descargas, , lo podremos obtener.En mi caso al usar el sistema operativo GNU-Linux opto por la versión appimage.

Llevo un par de meses editando con #kdenlive, y la verdad, me ha sorprendido.
Va muy fluido, no crashea, y me ha permitido aumentar mi productividad editando mis videos y cursos.
Como buen usuario de #shotcut, le he cambiado algunos shortcuts para que el cambio sea más fluido, y por el momento, ninguna queja 🙂
