I found a bug, and I wonder where I can report it.
@kde or @kdefr ?

It's quiet simple :

- in dolphin: I add a label at a pdf file.
- the file appear in the label list with the other files
- when I edit the pdf in okular and save it
- the label is removed from the file and disappear from the list.

If I add the label to a markdown file edit and save it, the label is not removed.

Why isn't there a #GTK version of #Dolphin??? #Nautilus is mostly good enough, but I can *feel* its deep hatred for users. It despises us.

I fucking miss when things work on #KDE lol - like the 'expose' feature (what #macOS calls it, dk what it's called on #PlasmaDesktop). It used to work the way it shd, where activating it shows an overview of windows from ONLY the same app. Ever since Plasma 6 first launched, which was a long time ago, it literally shows a bunch of different apps too lol e.g. exposing VS Code also shows Thunderbird, Firefox, etc. which makes this 'productivity' feature essentially useless. I've suspicion that it's more to do with #Wayland, maybe, not being able to differentiate these apps - and a lot of these apps also show the stupid Wayland logo/icons too instead of their own icons like they did on #X11... but yea.

It's a long-standing issue so it's probably already known, but who knows. Even #Dolphin 's getting worse these days where you can't even rename files/folders properly and requires some weird ass workarounds e.g. after editing the name in the text input, don't press Enter - instead, use your mouse/trackpad and click on the file/folder you're renaming instead to save the change. Pretty freaking weird all around. Most of these if not all of these, I found, is not an issue on #SteamOS since #Valve still uses X11 instead of Wayland.

have used, & enjoyed, #kdiff3 as my default graphical diff app in all my various distros, having first discovered it in my default boot, :archlinux: :kde: , years ago. it has been quite an up & down ride though, coz when it works it's excellent, but over the long haul it has broken many times, partly or completely. for the past week or two it's been pissing me off again. though it launches, both standalone & when invoked from #Dolphin, as soon as i click the icon to begin the manual diffing, its GUI freezes & has to be closed. trying several recent versions via downgrade hasn't helped, & reverting its config file to default also hasn't. i've finally lost all patience with it, so have removed it, & now my default diff app is #Meld... which is a pity given it's GTK. i still have #Kompare installed, but only use it for simple things, given it is barely configurable & flexible compared to the other two. sassen frassen rassen.

I flipped the dolphin so he was breaching while holding and moving against the anchor. The waves are a Greek motif pulling west, while the clouds are pushing east.

I just decided to replace Nemo with #Dolphin as my file manager on my #DWM setup on #ArchLinux. It works nice with the #trash can setup, but now it asks for every file type, every time I click on it, what app to open it with.

How do I force Dolphin to adhere to the file association settings that worked in Nemo?
