Someday I'll do an overview of the doo-wop songs of this world. There are millions of them in all shapes and colors. From pop to Satanism. From hipsters and hip-hoppers to punks and rockers. Even in the early days of doo-wop, it was more of a subgenre—it didn't get its name until much later anyway.

It's always the same chord change. (The change to the parallel minor after the tonic) – it's kind of magical. I think it perfectly represents love. That pain, that sweet pain. And I think that's why there are fanatical fans of this music and people who just can't stand it. Both positions are completely understandable.
