Switched to Tidal years ago and was really enjoying it. Audio quality was excellent, their curated playlists were great, and the daily mixes just seemed to "get" me.
Had been pretty frustrated with their app, though. Offline play seemed to have a mind of its own: things wouldn't download, tracks that appeared to be there weren't, and playback would fail for no apparent reason.
I was having those issues on an old phone that was about to lose support, and I committed to not ditching Tidal until I recreated the problems with a newer model.
Fired up Tidal on the new phone and everything appears to work flawlessly. I wondered what the problem with the old phone had been....
Checked the storage and the issue was immediately apparent: I was trying to put 130 GiB of songs onto a phone with 164 GiB of storage. 😶
That's bound to cause some odd problems (although in my defense, the app probably should have said, "You don't have enough free space" instead of just working weird.)

#Android16 is now so clever that if you have a calendar event, it switches Modes to Event.
This silently blocks incoming calls, which is a problem if the event WAS AN INCOMING CALL! 🤦

My audio issues? I spent way too many hours trying to diagnose/fix.
@RadND came in with... Have you tried *fully powering down* and booting directly into Linux? And, amazingly, that worked.
I guess in all that time I was only doing restarts which weren't enough to reset hardware to a good state for Linux. 🤯

@bughunter wow, I am an absolute doofus - I realized now that I was entering the WRONG information for the boot order while using efibootmgr -n command.
It wasn't the usb stick - it was me 😞

Every time I get my digital calipers out of their case to use, the CR2032 battery is dead. Fortunately, the last time I had to buy some it was cheaper to buy a 25 pack than just one.
I think I've been putting the manual back in the case in such a way that it presses/holds the power button down. #UserError
I had a 3G only phone replaced as the telcos are switching off 3G services.
New phone is #SamsingA05s.
Waited till I had a screen protector and case before taking it with me.
Found it un-usable for calls as the audio was woeful.
Harsh words about #MrSamsung's character were spoken.
Then I noticed the see-saw volume button behaving very strangely.
Closer inspection showed the gel case to be constantly depressing the centre of the see-saw.

No, the fact that the 'save a new view' option only appears when you've actually made changes to a system view is not a bug.
Spent 12 days cooking data using a third party solution, which didn’t print progress, and it seems to have crashed before saving to disk… 🤬😭😱

Dear Gmail, Thanks for the "create event" feature within emails -- & thanks for defaulting to sending invites to every recipient of the email, even those who were blind copied. Because what I really want when trying to quickly save an event I've learned about from a listserv is to spam every other person on that list and then spend hours getting bounce back emails.

I keep forgetting to thread my #ClimateChange posts because I thought I'd lost the "save drafts" functionality in the #IceCubes #app.
I just realized that was pure #UserError and that drafts still do save correctly and can be found by clicking the file box icon in the app's toolbar (screenshot attached)
I am finally quitting using #Windows on my main machine, the motherfucker totally corrupted my #btrfs data partition while trying to install #GTAV and #lossless albums onto it. The part started "locking" itself down, started to get cheskum errors and now im about to lose about 100gb of music, roms and games because of corporate garbage. This could be also a #usererror that could've been prevented if windows made things easier for alternative #filesystems but they want market for themselves.
