Exciting news if they can pull it off, but there are SO many more #solar innovations needed, chief among them:
Current cells only react to #UltravioletLight. Reaction to even ONE MORE wavelength (like #Infrared) could DOUBLE the output of a single solar cell, meaning more power from the same area, or being able to cut panel sizes in half. #GND
A thing I need to keep in mind is, just because I see others not considering the harms of high risk uv rays, doesn't mean I need to be as reckless.
This summer has NOT been good for me at all.
Climate change is real and we need to stop pretending like it's not affecting us.
