#LineageOS users, does anyone have any idea why I constantly get this message? When i tap on the notification, I'm told to unlock my screen, but then nothing happens after that. It's just my home screen. I keep checking, and I do indeed have the latest version of #Signal installed. What's going on here?

Hello folks! I am experiencing quite often lately that people who use #Signal sporadically do not get notifications about new messages. Is this a known issue? I experienced the same on a business phone for a while and without changing the settings, at one point I got the notifications. This is neither Android or iOS specific nor producer specific. The models used are quite different, from middle to high class Samsung to cheap Chinese smartphones. I'd appreciate any hints. #DiDay #UnplugBigTech

Question #signal : j'ai "muté" un groupe pour ne plus recevoir les notifications...Par contre, je les reçois quand même quand je suis mentionnée dans un message posté. Chiant.
Comment je peux faire en sorte de ne plus recevoir DU TOUT de notifications, même quand quelqu'un du groupe me mentionne ? 😞 J'ai l'impression que ce n'est pas possible (oui, j'ai bien la dernière mise à jour de l'appli)
EDIT : @OatPotato m'a donné la soluce : "quand tu ouvres le groupe, tu peux ouvrir des paramètres pour celui-ci en haut à droite, là tu choisis "Sons et notifications" et tu peux choisir de ne pas être notifiée pour les mentions"

Au passage, toujours fascinée que signal n'a toujours pas intégré la possibilité de metttre "pause" quand on enregistre un vocal (contrairement à what's app), c'est chiant (aussi).

#signal doesn't get shit for going down like #bluesky does. both are not effectively decentralized. use #matrix instead. get all the people who promote signal and have money, to help build out an ecosystem for matrix. if we ever really face the full totalitarian crackdown that signal builds its reputation on fighting, this will matter.
