Three light grey metal shelves are now making a window height bench down one side of an allotment shed. A 1.5 metre long red metal ladder is sitting on the bench.

Can these hoses be (easily) repaired? I'm guessing not, but would love to be wrong. If they can't be repaired can I at least recycle it?

Finally completed one of my longer standing tech projects.
Had an old laptop where the motherboard was fragged.
Extracted the screen.
Added a controller board and DIY casing and turned it into an external monitor.

Inside a shed. With three windows to look out of. It’s not raining for once.

The shed is almost entirely made from recycled, reused, reclaimed and repaired materials.

Windows fitted on three sides of a shed. One window has a white frame with no glass. The end window is a recycled shower screen and the third window has a green painted frame with white window panels. The windows will be painted when the weather has warmed up enough. Inside the shed are five wooden core sample boxes stacked on a table and a bench respectively. Some bottles of various home made amendments for the garden are stacked inside two blue wooden crates. Some reclaimed blue chipboard is fixed underneath the windows.

A shower screen is leant up against a rectangular water tank in front of a blue shed with green windows. The water tank holds rainwater harvested from the roof. The shower screen is approximately 140 centimetres high and 80 centimetres wide. The screen has two panels and the second panel has a metal handle and slips inside the first panel on runners. The screen will be fitted as an end window and horizontally so that the second screen will effectively become a drop-down window to ventilate the shed.

Today I welcomed this table into my home and I think it's great for several reasons:
- exactly the right size
- fits in perfectly with my 70's/80's/90’s thriftstore look
- sturdy, real wood
- has rounded corners so it hurts less when you bump into it
- nice drawer for my painting brushes
- it was for free (yay!)
- previous owners were happy they didn't have to trash it

Two sheds brought together as one. A small, square traditional shed has a longer, rectangular extension. The shed is painted cornflower blue. The old shed has a roof that slopes down to the left. The extension has a green roof and slopes forwards and to the right. Rainwater is harvested off both sheds down gutters and into water butts around the building. A wooden framed window painted green has eighteen small glass panes. Two growing beds inside black metal fencing are down to green manures of rye grass and mustard. Bare trees form the backdrop to the shed.

Disassembled the massive no-longer-live evergreen solstice wreath I'd bought last minute at the garden center to go on a boring fence with visibility to the whole neighborhood, today. Stuffed the branches along the inner fence line in hopes it might deter some of the wildlife that dig under it; if not, it'll at least compost eventually. And, as expected, we can use the frame to build our own for cheap next year. Not bad. #gardening #RepairReuseRecycle

Today was a good day... Fixed the heater blower of the new used car, fixed the motion control of the driveway lighting, fixed another outdoor light. Fixing things is so satisfying. #repairReuseRecycle #repair
