im trying to switch my workstation to fedora and I need MAXQDA. Articles suggest its as easy as "just install with wine" but in reality its broken :(

I normally prepare content to write a paper introduction or the state of the art for a project proposal using MaxQDA. Then, I use the retrieved segments to fill the outline I previously prepared.

Today I tried to upload the document with all retrieved segments and the outline to chatGPT 4 and the result was surprisingly good. Obviously, it needs some rewriting to read like I had in mind, but pretty close. And saving a lot of time.

[Erstmal erledigt, bis ich das jetzige Programm getestet habe]

Frage zu Software für qualitative Datenanalyse:
Normalerweise nutzt man ja #MaxQDA.
Da das aber für #Linux nicht geht, suche ich das zu empfehlende #Alternativprogramm für Linux.
Sollte einfach zu installieren sein, ich bin gerade schon auf ein Programm gestossen, beim dem ich auf den ersten Blick nicht verstehe, wie ich es installiere. Ich möchte ja damit arbeiten, sollte also keinen ganzen Arbeitstag benötigen, um es zu installieren.
Jemand eine Idee, was und wo es das geben könnte?

I'd be curious to hear how people like it. Not into qualitative analysis myself (except for the occasional #TEI encoding), but people around me encounter similar issues with #MaxQDA.

Sadly there isn't really an open alternative to #maxqda and it doesn't seem to run on #linux with wine. Is there some weird winecfg magik I can do to make it work?

I'm running a course on doing analysis for evaluations next week for the Social Research Association. There are a few places left in case anyone is interested. Can someone help with comparing two groups of codes. I am currently analysing what types of games are being played by participants with different life experiences and comparing the game and experience.

I think crosstab is correct but I'm not sure.
