Bueno pues al final voy a intentar sincronizar mis notas de #joplin y mis contraseñas de #keepass con #syncthings. De esta manera nunca estarán en la nube, solo en mis dispositivos y encriptadas.

I'm looking for suggestions for cloud services. I am currently a paid #Proton customer. I started moving to them to try to get away from Google. But Proton still doesn't have a #Linux client for Proton Drive, which is a major frustration, especially since my current password management is a #KeePass database in my cloud storage. Also, the #android Proton Drive client doesn't seem capable of opening files from the app like Google Drive could, which also makes it inconvenient to use the password manager -- I have to separately download the file, use it, and delete it to save space.

I do use Proton's VPN, but that is in part because the good options for mail and storage together also include it.

Mit #KeePass als Passwort-Manager ist man komplett unabhängig von externen Anbietern. Und die Datenbank, in der die Passwörter gespeichert sind, kann man bequem mit #SyncThing auf allen Geräte im Netzwerk aktuell halten.

The thing i find sad about @keepassxc and other version of #keepass it's the face they don't (or don't advertise if it exist), a simple way to sync automatically dabatase (encrypted).

Relying on syncthing the databse can work for some people, but it's not enough for the majority of us.

Hope to see a simple sync method later.

Quiero quitarme dropbox en la línea de dejar de usar software estadounidense, más aun cuando datos privados están alojados en sus servidores.
Busco una alternativa, preferiblemente europea para guardar mi archivo de contraseñas y notas y que tenga al menos un cliente para #linux y otro #android que permita la sincronización automática de archivos (no fotos) sin tener que andar descargándolos manualmente. Para que el gestor de contraseñas #keepass pueda estar siempre actualizado entre plataformas. Por supuesto #opensource. No me importa tener que pagar por un producto que sea bueno y seguro. Se agradecen impulsos.

If possible I'd like to migrate to a non-US provider. Suggestions? Should be cloud based (Sorry, I'm not going to mess around with local #KeePass files) and free of ties to a US company, if possible not even AWS in the backend. Is there such a thing?
