Bike generator update: I've been doing systematic measurement to better understand the 12V lead acid battery's charge behavior. Here's a graph of the battery's terminal voltage, i.e. measurement at the positive and negative terminals, which does not necessarily reflect its internal state.
The voltage very quickly jumps up when I start pedaling, then gradually increases even more while I keep pedaling at a steady pace. As soon as I stop, the voltage drops very quickly within the first few minutes, then gradually levels out over the course of a day.
The final voltage is somewhat higher than the starting voltage, by approximately the same amount as it rose during the "gradual increase" period. I think I may be able to use this to predict what the final voltage will be, while I'm still pedaling.
Also... 45 minutes of pedaling only actually increased the voltage by 0.04 volts. I really need thicker wire. 😭 Although, the previous session increased the voltage by 0.1 volts from 1 hour of pedaling. 🤔 I think the voltage reading is not linearly proportional to actual charge level. And that it will charge more slowly as the battery voltage approaches the voltage my generator is putting out. More testing needed.

Миграция с Oracle на PostgreSQL часто означала переписывание значительной части запросов из-за различий диалектов. К середине 1990-х проблема стала настолько заметной, что начали появляться Object-Relational Mapper’ы (ORM). Идея выглядела привлекательно: работать с таблицами как с объектами, писать код на «родном» языке программирования вместо SQL-строк, а перевод на SQL оставлять фреймворку.
