A quick fountain pen and water brush sketch of a pedestrian walking past a parked bus in Berlin. The scene captures the grey, atmospheric light of late winter using Diamine 'Ghost' ink.

A digital portrait study of an elderly man with deep, expressive features, based on a picture i´ve found on Pinterest. Painted in Procreate in about 1,5 hours using the 'Sharp Render' brush from the JingSketch pack. My goal here was to capture the different nuances of his facial expression.

A series of quick, loose fountain pen sketches of Paraguayan buses, using black ink and watercolor, focusing on the iconic eye-catching patterns and colourful paint jobs of the local transport.

I often see educational materials where illustrations of light bulbs light up or fans spin. I like to introduce kids to the joy of electronics by turning simple circuits into something unique. I often look at nature for inspiration. A variation of my glowing mushrooms are these jelly fish.

Quokkas are cute & live mostly in southwest Australia.
While thinking about "questing" the idea of a quokka playing pen & paper RPGs evolved.

Let me introduce these adventurers; a thief with a leather messenger bag, quest map, who happens to play the lute; a wizard wearing a hat, cape, holding a wand, specialized in magic spices/potions as shown on the magician's belt; a brave dwarf wearing a fur coat (fake!), holding a powerful hammer while being unable to resist to eat a delicious leaf from the wizard's wand; the game master in the middle wearing a red hooded cape, a necklace, equipped with mystic books, lying on one of these books, a sugar glider hugging a glowing dice.

Flying over Australia on a magical carpet. The quokkas are wearing sandals/boots, standing mid-air above small tree stumps. It is a slightly challenging journey. BG - Forests, castles, stars, and the blood moon.

They enjoy a cup of tea. The light for their character sheets, dice, and tools appears from the tree stumps illuminated surface/lanterns with intricate patterns in pastel colors. The map on the table with a pinned mini version of their carpet shows their current location. A golden chalice with golden eucalyptus (a delicacy!), the treasure they are desperately looking for.

@ghalfacree I like the idea of modular electronics and I have been thinking of similar modules using paper cubes and conductive tape. But I fear that those cubes are only fun until you tried each module once. After that the size and limitations of the cubes will hold you back actually creating something. Anyway, thanks for sharing that campaign.

@jerzone That would definitely be the best option. In case everything else fail I'll go for that

@jerzone what could be even simpler is, instead of designing traces you design large patches seperated by gaps/valleys. that way a pointy thing following the gaps would break the copper tape and you are ready to go. I think this kind of design was used in the past to save acid because you keep most of the copper.

@jerzone I wonder how tricky soldering on it is. It's easy to melt the PCB i guess.
