The #Magic fall to the #Thunder 128-92. I'd say burn the tape... but they actually need to watch this to remember what happens if they don't play with any effort or intention.

Then again, there have been a lot of those this season.

Must win all four on this homestand, imo.

The #Magic pulled the plug at the last timeout. The #Thunder got some extra stat padding and now lead by 37. Just a flat-out embarrassing effort.

The next four at home feel like a must-sweep. Team needs some confidence and belief heading into the break.

The #Magic trail the #Thunder 94-68 after three quarter. Paolo Banchero has 17 points on 6/17 shooting. Magic cut the deficit down to as little as 23 in the third.

The Thunder are just a different class of team.

The #Magic cut the deficit to 23, but the #Thunder have extended it back to 31. That coincided with Paolo going to the bench. Suggs and Bane are out there still, but there is no reason to bring the starters back in. Miserable effort tonight.

The #Magic finally started hitting some shots and are 5 for 10 from three in the second quarter.

That has the deficit down to <checks notes> 27 at the half.

The #Thunder are outclassing the Magic. Just no intensity or attention to detail tonight.

OKC leads 68-41 at halftime.

Paolo is waking up with 7 points in the quarter. Starting to find his lift and be aggressive. But the #Magic's defense is doing very little to disrupt the #Thunder. They are doing whatever they want. Everything feels cosmetic at this point.

59-26 OKC, 4:37 2nd

About as disastrous a quarter as the #Magic could have. They let the #Thunder get their rhythm & essentially gave up offensively when they were unable to hit shots. Thunder are rolling up 39-14 after one quarter.

That is losing a quarter by 10+ points in 17 of the last 25 games.

Maybe this is just the difference between a title-contending team and a struggling team. But it feels like the #Thunder are just playing at their pace, and the #Magic are pressing and trying to do everything at once. OKC isn't even playing that well.

The #Thunder are starting with Hartenstein on Paolo. Assumedly, they feel like Chet can roam off of Carter. Going to be important for Carter to be active and hit shots to keep Chet attached to him.
