Nearly Friday. Have some pretty vine tomatoes. With the cold, wet weather outside, the memory of this lovely Victorian lean-to greenhouse at a spot in Yorkshire brings back memories of warmth and sun.

This is a portrait format colour image of baby tomatoes turning from green to red on the vine. They are viewed close up with the white washed wall of the greenhouse glimpsed through the leaves. Sunlight picks out some of the tomatoes creating highlights across the composition.

A couple of nights ago it was so clear that I got this shot from my roof terrace in the centre of town...

LAATBLOEIER

LATE BLOOMER
The Indian cress (Tropaeolum majus) is often found in vegetable gardens. Bees and butterflies love it, and this herbaceous plant often diverts harmful insects away from your other vegetables.
The flowering starts in June and can continue through, or sometimes even beyond, October. (This photo was taken on November 2.)
