This printer continues to amaze me. I started this print from the comfort of my basement office, ~100 ft from my shop, and in the morning, I'll pluck these two 1/4 cup dog food scoops from the bed.

This was a pipe dream ten years ago.

Make some vinyl stickers with the cutter module on my #H2D 3D printer, they came out amazing!

I’ve been listening to a bit of Radiohead so I thought a bear sticker would be cool.

The X-Wing is so detailed, it’s amazing. I love printing with this printer!

I've been trying PVA for supports for my minis on my #H2D. On the paper, it was perfect: water soluble filament, so that I can remove the support without damaging the print. Perfect. In reality:

- printing PLA on top of PVA often failed
- could not successfully print PVA < 0.2mm layer height… what's the point for minis? 🤷
- that thing is literally glue, and it keeps clogging the nozzle.

Gladly, I found (on reddit) a great solution: PETG supports! Prints great, detaches easily.

I 3D printed an amazing model for an Oni mask for my son. The model was free on Makerworld.

He’s been dressing up as a ninja and playing outside with his friends every day over summer, so I thought I’d level up his outfit.

I also resized the mask so it fits a smaller head size (doesn’t fit me anymore 😢)

My wife fell in love with this little duck on holidays, she even had a spot picked out for it - so my daughter and I sneakily bought it and smuggled it home without her knowing.

I took the opportunity to design and print a mid century modern style mini table to display it in our downstairs toilet.

After over a decade of struggling with the first Repraps (I had to get a local laser shop to cut some of the materials!), Enders, etc, it finally happened. I printed a Benchy with 10 year old #TPU.

I’m continued to be astounded by the #BambuLab #H2D.

I can’t wait to create with this new found skill!

#BambuLab's new #H2D printer is an awesome machine. But instead of the laser modules I’m more interested in its cutting module. Hope they will offer a bundle which includes just the printer and that cutting module.

Pár poznatků k Bambu Lab H2D:

• tiskne rychle, pohyb a akcelerace je fakt něco... u Vorona jsem se bál takové hodnoty nastavit,
• k tiskárně za takové peníze nedostanete kleštičky na filament a ani pinzetu... jak to dělají nováčci, netuším,
• jako první funkční tisk jsem si musel vytisknout "poop chute" na odpad, taky netuším, proč výlisek za dolar nedávají rovnou k tiskárně,
• a něco mimo: PETG-CF je super materiál, skoro ani nejde poznat, že je to 3D tisk.

Dneska dorazila H2D. Krabice je velká jak kráva a váží kolem 50 kg. Na fotkách je pro porovnání Voron 2.4 300mm. Neměl jsem moc čas si s tiskárnou hrát, ale je skvělý, že ji vybalíte, odšroubujete pár výlisků, proběhne asi 30 minutová automatická kalibrace a můžete tisknout. Jako první jsem vytisknul (jak jinak) 3D Benchy, žádný "závodní" profil, ale jen něco normálního s výsledným časem cca 30 minut, materiál PETG, tryska 0.4, vrstva 0.2 mm. Video v komentu.
