Was anyone aware that OBS now offers "Enhanced Broadcasting" aka Multritrack Video? This offloads video transcoding to the person that is streaming their content and off of the servers themselves.

This is the single biggest cost of hosting a livestreaming server. If users are willing to use what's in their system we can make the bar to entry incredibly low.

What do i see? People who talk a lot, from behind keyboards, blaming but not doing much of anything to help us.

1. Got five out of eight candidates scheduled for interviews this week, for a temp position to fill in for an employee who unexpectedly went on maternity leave 2 weeks early (mama and baby are fine).

2. Temps above freezing today, snow slowly starting to melt.

Honestly i think of the two groups:

It's the wanna be revolutionaries spending their time talking about violence, farming for likes and boosts on Mastodon that imo is the most useless.
