Bergman died in London on 29 August 1982, at midnight on her 67th birthday. Her ex-husband Lars Schmidt and three other people were present, having drunk their last toast to her hours earlier. A copy of The Little Prince was at her bedside, opened to a page near the end.

I had a real nice day out with the ghouls & ghosts of the District of the Damned for the Necropolis Bash/Bash! We kitbashed warbands from a communal bitz pile then played a game with em! It was great putting faces to usernames & I'm very stoked for future undead carnage! (Also very hyped to paint these!)
