There's a lot of discussion about George #Orwell and #1984 around, and i'm happy.
Although I agree that both #AnimalFarm and 1984 were clearly a critique of the Soviet Union, I would also claim that they were not direct critiques of #Communism as such & definitely not critiques of Marxism.
What these excellent pieces really were, were critiques of concentration of #power. That the object of power always becomes power of itself. Noble aims become corrupted & corruption can be framed as good.

I'm not against equality and equity but so called "improved", "safe space", "paradise" place is being just like Animal farm and in progress of transforming into Animal farm.
