Is it crazy to consider asking for a primary care doctor that’s #neurodivergent? Having to constantly get it up emotionally for allistics is exhausting, and frankly distracts from my actual care. Further, I don’t think they understand that, when I raise concerns about trust and transparency, that being dismissive and not addressing concerns diminishes trust. They just don’t hear me and then wonder why I avoid them.

Unfortunately, I found that core 0 cannot be disabled on that machine, so you're stuck with at least one performance core enabled, no matter what you do. Still, that's only one out of four. Here's my notes on how to do it:

I need to write about the #disabling consequences of the medical record system (particularly in the the u.s.). I’ve literally had surgeries that I wouldn’t have had if my records had been centralized. Anyone with similar experience want to write/think with me (comment below)? I’m desperately lonely writing alone. This could even be a paper with 100 authors on it so we could really throw people for a loop. #disability haha imagine a cv with a 100 author paper. That would be epic.

The thing many people don’t realize about being friends with a #crip #disabled person is that I will inevitably experience more #loss and #death in my lifetime than the “average” person. I need more #time. the pace of #highered is #disabling. Maybe the academy builds in time for 1 grief a year, but not much more. In my experience, offering me an “incomplete” until I turn in the #work hasn’t been a #sustainable solution. My opinion: Too much #homework in #graduate school.
