I wish I could claim I intended to do a double exposure. In fact I suspected I had accidentally double exposed a few minutes later when taking the next shot once I had left the area. I'm glad this has turned into a happy accident with the Coit Tower in the background and Alcatraz above the grill.

Early morning at Coit Tower. The view from there is limited because of the growth of bushes and trees, but the tower is nice. I left home to clear skies and was surprised by the fog on top of Telegraph Hill.

1) It was fun being a tourist in my own town today. #CoitTower was almost deserted and the view was gorgeous this morning. Cappuccinos at #CaffeTrieste, then actually excellent #DimSum in Chinatown.
2) Spouse is feeling better & we all got to eat at the table today.
3) Dad is better 1:1 than in a group. I think my spouse scares him, & he got into monologue loops (3-5 topics on repeat) at dinner but I can redirect 75% of the time into a conversation. New skill.

1) Absolutely stunning #SanFrancisco December morning in #NorthBeach. Sunny but a little chilly, not much breeze, & the kind of light that made #CoitTower and the #RussianHill high-rises look like watercolor backdrops on the horizon.
2) Discussed my upcoming surgery with a colleague who had the same repair earlier this year. Encouraging.
3) Went to a work holiday party & it did not suck. If anything, made me feel even better about being on this journey together.
