Trying to find the best option for hosting an #eleventy site, however there is a lot of content (I mean, a LOT) that gets updated frequently and #netlify's new pricing structure is a lot more prohibitive than the legacy one for regular builds.
One idea is #cloudways since we already have an account, has anyone done this kind of build-and-deploy with them?

Wonder how you all feel, but #DigitalOcean’s takeover of @csstricks has left quite an aftertaste.
Felt this strongly when just evaluating #Cloudways. I enjoyed the test, will keep it in mind, but I did ask their team now whether DigitalOcean was actually committed to Cloudways.
Wouldn’t be surprised if that strategy of buying and dropping websites, services, and tooling—that not only DigitalOcean engages in—can backfire, tremendously.
What is on my mind? Lots, actually, after finishing the book *World Wide Waste* by @gerrymcgovern over the weekend. It gave me SO MANY things to think about - hugely inspiring; and I'm already boring the pants off the family raving about it.
Next thing: what am I going to DO about it? How can I reduce MY digital impact on the planet? (just checking the page weight of some of my websites atm; will also check if my hosting service #Cloudways is 'sustainable').

Thanks to @mattrambles , and a great annual easter deal my server cost has gone down by 80% by switching from #cloudways to #racknerd
And I am using a more powerful server than what I had with Cloudways.
You may ask where the catch is ....
It's a #linux box so I have to manage it.. but that's where #opensource shines!!
