Northshore Congestion

I had the chance recently to visit the Oahu's Northshore. I drove out from Honolulu hoping to get a chance to see the famed Banzai Pipeline.
The wind was blowing from the wrong direction for the Pipeline to form. We grabbed a lunch and ended up on Haleiwa Ali Beach.
Some of the best surfers in the world were there.

Northshore Congestion

This is an image captured at Haleiwa Ali Beach on Hawaii's the Northshore of Oahu.
The main subject is a surfer finishing off his ride by getting air born off the top of the wave.
Behind him to the left you can see another surfer in the trough of the wave, working to get out of the way.
The wave in the background has 3 other surfers attempting vying for the wave.

Or maybe in this case, Air Rider. Either way, this surfer, and many others, out on Oahu's Northshore was simply amazing.
The waves were large and the action was non-stop. At times, 3 or 4 surfers trying for the same wave.
