Saw this at a small flea market for a couple of dollars. I wasn't going to buy it - but my wife said that I should. I'm kind of glad she did - I did see some on eBay but it looks like this might be somewhat uncommon. And was a pretty good deal for $2.00 U.S. Anyways it's an Ertl Batwing from 1992 part of the Batman Animated series.

#WIP on me #LEGO #Batwing troop carrier. Seen here is my proof of concept for the cabin door. My original plan was to have the door pivot down at the base, like a drawbridge. Based on some of the ideas around where I was going to go with the rest of the build meant that that definitely wasn't going to work, so it pushed me to think more creatively! #MOC #AFOL #SNOT #Batman #LegoBatman

Lovely little bit of #SNOT for lunch!

This is my current #LEGO project, an uber #BatWing troop carrier. I knew that I wanted the flanks of the fuselage to be orientated with the studs pointing out laterally, but I also wanted to use the aeroplane porthole bricks for the windows. So, I've worked out how to get them flush be flipping the porthole brick entirely upside-down!
