Speaking of Bat Houses…

I recently found myself at sunset, in a field of bat houses for “Mexican free-tailed bats.”

But but but… they are small - and fly around 100 MPH. Hard to photograph. Especially in the dark. So....

This is the best souvenir I’ve got, so far,
a frame from a short snip of 4K video I shot, with the bats too fast to see or capture clearly in real-time, even w/fast lens. At least you can see these aren't herons! :-)
