Le grand corbeau présente un plumage irisé aux reflets bleus. Pour rendre cela en aquarelle, j’ai choisi d’appliquer un fond bleu avant toute chose, puis un noir bleuté plein de nuances… 🖌️💙
Cet oiseau mythique est très présent dans le Grand Nord.
Il a d’ailleurs inspiré de nombreuses légendes inuit. Loin d’être un symbole de malheur, il est pour les peuples du Nord le porteur de la lumière qui revient après la longue nuit hivernale. ✨🌌

Repurposing their installation on "Volkskultur" at the Volksundenmuseum in the Otto Wagner Areal, The ZoNE collective turns its focus to the idea of a popular movement for the common good. Drawing inspiration from one of Austria’s most remarkable civil society achievements — the anti-nuclear campaign at Zwentendorf — the collective asks what such a movement might look like in these polarized and fragmented times.

Edited archival images from the protests surrounding the Zwentendorf power plant become speculative spaces, inviting reflection on what future collective victories we might one day celebrate. In reactivating the installation, The ZoNE collective adds new notes and provocations, questioning what a national holiday should commemorate today — and how we might choose to celebrate it.
