Curse UI ‘designers’
Not running at the moment as I bashed a knee on a steep descent, but I thought I would take advantage of the lull to do the mid winter wash of much grubby clothing (troos and down jackets) plus a duvet. Off to the commercial was and dryer.
Wash done and then I find the dryer is broken!!! No warning before I started and not visible until the wash is finished. I would like to have a ‘quiet’ word with whoever designed it.

In the pantheon of folkloric supernatural entities, with all sorts of attributes, it is odd that we don't seem to have a spirit that sneaks into people's houses and covers important stuff with piles of clean/dirty clothes.
I would have expected humans to have invented such a thing centuries ago.

After a painting by Fernand Pelez, a Spanish-born artist living in Paris known for painting beggars and the homeless, circus performers, and the poor.
Genre paintings like this became popular in the 19th century, alongside more traditional formal classical portraits and hunting or battle scenes. Often they are very idealised, but i think not here.

We have ended with more in the batteries than we started the day despite multiple loads of washing and spin drying, doing the washing up (between them and drinks boiling the kettle on the induction hob at least 6 times), and running my computer (mini desktop with 40” screen).
We are now living aboard our Rival 38 Centre Cockpit full-time while finishing a refit so we can launch ASAP.
