I urge all developers of #Android apps to NOT pre-emptively obey the new terms of #Google requiring you to sign up for the Android Developer Console.

It looks like Google is attempting a power grab and wants to prevent ALL installations of Android apps without official Google approval; even those installed outside Google Play.

This is an attack on both developer and user freedom and unacceptable.

Sehr schön. Andree hat in beiden Büchern aufeinander aufbauend die Fakten strukturiert vorgeführt zum Themenkomplex #DigitaleSouveränität, #Medienregulierung, #VendorLockin und #Monopolisierung, die Trump, Thiel, Musk, US TechBros ausnutzen, um damit Demokratie durch #Deregulierung zu vernichten. Für den maximalen Profit in Milliardenhöhe. Und er zeigt auf, dass dies seit Jahren schon maximal etabliert wurde!

Andree vermittelt eine klare Agenda zu Ursachen und Auswirkungen...

Wie geht Ihr damit um? #Adobe hat sein Fotopaket aus #Lightroom und #Photoshop mal eben im Preis verdoppelt: 23,79€ pro Monat - #VendorLockIn - wer damit anfängt, ist fast gezwungen das ein Leben lang zu bezahlen. Das Abo kostet damit in 30 Jahren über 8500€ (pro Person) Wechsel ist schwer, da viele Funktionen der Kataloge verloren gehen.
Ich finde beide Tools qualitativ sehr gut und bezahle das bereits seit über 20 Jahren - nur 100% Preisaufschlag (vor Allem für #KI) ohne Wahlmöglichkeit…

@mandarine0711 IONOS war ich auch, bis klar wurde, das deren Nextcloud 2 sehr relevante Funktionen nicht bieten: #Backup und #UserMigration - damit kompletter #VendorLockIn (diverse Versuche meine Daten rauszubekommen - auch mit Support gescheitert) Bin dann nach über 20 Jahren von IONOS weg

TIL : Underscores (_) aren't a "good practice" when using Microsoft Sharepoint.
Makes sense if what you think of it as OneDrive, but it completely overrides the basic snake_case rule commonly used to ensure compatibility when dealing with file system organization and data storage.

Keep in mind that now Sharepoint is becoming the standard when it comes to electronic document management, especially through large contracts with public institutions (like it is in Canada). Removing "_" is still a guideline from MS, not a standard yet. However, it seems that on the long term one runs of making file structure to become totally unoperable if you were to revert to your basic on-premise server in the future.
