My sister asked me what I take pictures of and my reply was "I don't know. Shapes? Mostly ceilings, hallways, and, like, trashcans and stuff."
Then we passed by this #trashcan and I had to prove my point.

#25 Organic Geometry.
Just one word: Shrink wrap. Oh, that's two words. I know it as a modifier in #blender3d but here I created it myself in 2D. I didn't want to code Metaballs (I did for another prompt that isn't posted yet), so I created random circles and a huge circle around that gets smaller and smaller, and the parts getting in contact with the inner circles stays at their place while the others drift more to the center.
Too complicated? Just look at it. I like the result and the forms the algorithm produced.
Do you see a fly, a lemon, a tooth, a head, ...? What do you see?

#SHAPES for #Blender: Quick Tip 18
A highly valuable tool to help with creating smooth, consistent shape keys, avoiding bad deformation. Similar to Smooth Corrective modifier but with various advantages:
- per shape adjustments
- no additional modifier required
- only edited vertices are affected
- reduced loss of volume
- respects changes in local scale
- fully integrated workflow
🐚 Concrete helix. An unfinished, now abandoned, aquarium in Lebanon. Looks like a segmented shell to me, like the ammonite fossils I love to hunt for on the beach near Whitby (east coast, UK). Funny, to be so far from home but reminded of it in such a random way 💙
