Ora devo capire come eliminare tutto e rifare l'import.

#PixelUnion

Sto testando @pixelunion come sostituto a Google Photo. Speriamo che l import non dia problemi

2025 is the wake-up call for Europe. 🇪🇺

From Microsoft blocking the ICC's email 🚫 to Meta scraping our lives for AI training 🤖, the mask is off. If your data is in the US cloud, you don't own it.

Digital sovereignty isn't a luxury anymore; it's a necessity. I wrote a blog post about why we need to reclaim our data and move to European alternatives.

A dark, dystopian digital illustration symbolizing the grip of Big Tech on Europe in the year 2025.

At the top, the year "2025" is displayed in large, gritty text. Below it, a giant, shadowy arm extends from the darkness on the right, labeled "BIG TECH." The hand grips a technological puppeteering device featuring a glowing red eye and a digital brain, suggesting surveillance and algorithmic control.

From this device, numerous data cables or strings dangle down towards a map of Europe. These strings are attached to small icons representing personal data: envelopes (email), speech bubbles (communication), and image files (photos), implying that these personal assets are being manipulated from above.

In the center of the map, a classical building—resembling a courthouse or government institution—is overlaid with a large, bright red "X" and the glowing text "ACCESS DENIED," representing the blocking of essential services or institutions.

Surrounding the entire European map is a heavy metal chain held together by padlocks, symbolizing a digital blockade, captivity, or a lack of sovereignty. The overall color palette is deep blue and black, with the red "X" and the red robotic eye serving as alarming focal points.

The great thing about our core being based on Immich, the amazing open source project, 💪 is the large ecosystem of other open source tools.

🎄 Nov 24–Dec 25, PixelUnion will donate 20% of all revenue to humanitarian aid in Sudan 🇸🇩 via the Netherlands Red Cross 🇳🇱.

Why it matters: Sudan faces the world’s largest displacement crisis; millions are in acute hunger and the health system is largely non‑functional.

Choose EU‑privacy 🛡️🇪🇺. Make a direct impact ❤️‍🩹. Please share.

This is my own Europack via europick.eu! 🇪🇺✨ I know Signal isn’t European, but it’s still a much better choice than WhatsApp 📱—plus my friends and family are already on it 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. PixelUnion is a great European initiative for open source software 🧑‍💻🌱. 🐘💙

The image presents a list of popular digital services and their suggested European or privacy-friendly alternatives, under the heading "europick.eu" in blue letters. In the top right corner, there is an icon of the European flag with a hand cursor.

The layout consists of several rows. Each row displays two services or apps: the original service on the left (with its logo and name) and the alternative on the right (also with logo and name), with an arrow pointing from the original to the alternative. Here is the content from left to right and top to bottom:

Gmail → Proton Mail
Google Photos → PixelUnion
Google Search → Ecosia

Google Chrome → Mullvad Browser
WhatsApp → Signal
Google Drive → Proton Drive

Google Passwords → Passbolt
No VPN → NordVPN
ChatGPT → Ollama

Apple Maps → Organic Maps

Each service is depicted with its recognizable logo and name. The alternatives are mostly European or privacy-focused options. The design is clean and simple, with arrows indicating a suggested switch from the well-known service to its recommended alternative.
