Oh no, we are just about out of our ground goat meat for the season. Ground is our favorite goat cut as it is so versatile. Just a simple salt and pepper burger is soo delicious.

Try our bone broth sampler pack this week. It contains 1 each of pork, lamb, goat, and chicken broth. All of the bone broths are handmade by us, in a commercial kitchen, using only our animal bones and water. Nothing added, not even salt.

3rd Annual #SouthGeorgia #SeedSwap

Saturday, Feb 28, 2026 (11 AM to 2:30 PM)

"2026 is a monumental year... a year to embrace our past, and to cultivate a connection with our agrarian heritage and our community. We’re excited to announce that we will again be hosting the South Georgia Seed Swap at #GeneralCoffeeStatePark! Rain or shine join us February 28th!

Meet at the #RelihanMuseumAndNatureCenter. We encourage all who plan to join us to bring some #NonGMO, #heirloom, or #NativeSeeds to swap with others in attendance. If you have old local varieties we especially hope you'll attend and share!

Presentations on heirloom seeds and seed saving will take place throughout the event. There will be tables, chairs, and plenty of good conversation. Whether you're an experienced gardener or a novice, this is a wonderful learning event.

We taught Pup to balance food on her nose years ago, it is now Ruff’s turn to learn patience. Starting small but she can now balance food on her paw without eating it immediately. What do you do to torture your pets when it is snowy out?

Now's a better time than ever to pick up a Boston butt roast and make some pulled pork. Our simplest recipe is just rub it with salt, add a splash of orange juice to the bottom of the crock pot and cook on low/medium until it falls apart. If you want a more involved recipe check out our latest blog post that rehashes a recipe we made 10 years ago at New Year’s. botlfarm.com/blog/2/109

The Good Stuff is what we like to call our ground pork organ mix. It is a blend of pork heart, kidney, liver, and tongue. This was initially intended to supplement your furry companions meals, but some customers have decided that it makes a nutritious addition to meatloaf.

Meet Solveig. She is an F1 cross of Mangilista and Berkshire breed pigs, meaning she is the first generation from two purebreds making her a true 50/50 cross. This is our favorite cross of sow and turns out this cross loves the cold, snowy weather. Just look how furry she is.

Pork chops are one of our go to cuts. They are so easy to make. Just season with salt, thrown in a cast iron pan (a heavy layer of lard in the pan makes it special but it not needed) and sear over medium heat. we like to enjoy our chops rare to medium rare.
