Somewhat recently I switched to using the FLX1s Linux phone (from an Android phone).
The FLX1s is a privacy oriented phone, that is an open platform, built on open-source software, where I am in control of it.
One thing that I find makes using it better is — having these 3 app stores installed:
• Software
• F-Droid
• Aurora Store
I switched my phone somewhat recently — from an Android phone to a FLX1s Linux Phone.
I am an early adopter — so there are some rough areas, but —
I am largely happy with the phone.
Especially given that it is a privacy oriented phone, that is an open platform, built on open-source software, where I am in control of it.
One nice thing though — for the apps where there is no Linux alternative, you can run (some) Android apps on it.

Finally I decided to get a Mecha Comet Linux Handheld.
Even without mobile connectivity* I think is the best Linux phone you can get.
It doesn't rely on Android, and they attempt to keep it as open as possible.
(*may be possible to add LTE/5G modem latter)

Linux phones are literally cool. Look at GNOME. It’s really great on phones. I would have full harmony with my Linux desktop and tablet, and the apps are already good enough for daily use.
However, my main problem with Linux phones is NFC support, banking apps, and Google Pay, because these are my daily needs. I want to switch to a Linux phone when these problems are properly solved.
