Loch Ness Monster camera restored by Repair Shop experts

#Vintage #camera once used to hunt the #LochNess #Monster has been restored after spending more than 50 years on the #loch’s bed.

The camera was developed in the 1970s by Professor Roy Mackal of the Loch Ness Investigation Bureau and is believed to be the first purpose-built device designed specifically for the task of locating and photographing #Nessie.

The bottom two thirds of the frame show the loch. In the near left corner is a clump of yellow irises and tall green reeds, and much of the near suface of the water is covered with small green water lily-like pads. The far side of the loch is ringed with a mix of coniferous and deciduous trees in leaf. Behind them, slightly left-of-centre, rises the conical Mid-Eildon hill, covered in heather, a dark brown/green. Loch Iubhair im Nebel, Schottland
Loch Iubhair ist ein idyllischer Süsswassersee im schottischen Glen Dochart, gelegen innerhalb des Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Nationalparks etwa sechs Kilometer östlich von Crianlarich. Der Name bedeutet übersetzt „See der Eiben“. Er ist eng mit dem benachbarten Loch Dochart verbunden und wird vom gleichnamigen River Dochart gespeist. Umgeben von einer beeindruckenden Bergkulisse, insbesondere dem Sgiath Chùil, gilt der See als ruhiger Rückzugsort für Wanderer und Naturliebhaber, die die malerischen Uferabschnitte abseits der grossen Touristenströme schätzen.

Lochindorb (from the Scottish Gaelic: Loch nan Doirb meaning "loch of the minnows") is a freshwater loch north of Grantown on Spey in the Highland council area of Scotland.The ruins of 13th century Lochindorb Castle, a former stronghold of the Clan Comyn, are located there. King Edward I of England stayed in the castle during his 1303 campaign against the Scots.
