Government remains the paramount area of folly because it is there that men seek power over others -- only to lose it over themselves.

“Wait a moment,” said Winnie-the-Pooh, holding up his paw.
He sat down and thought, in the most thoughtful way he could think. Then he fitted his paw into one of the Tracks … and then he scratched his nose twice, and stood up.
“Yes,” said Winnie-the-Pooh.
“I see now,” said Winnie-the-Pooh.
“I have been Foolish and Deluded,” said he, “and I am a Bear of No Brain at All.”
A. A. Milne (1882-1956) English poet and playwright [Alan Alexander Milne]
Winnie-the-Pooh, ch. 3 “Pooh and Piglet Go Hunting” (1926)

Proverbs, Chapter 9
This chapter is about invitations of wisdom & of folly. This chapter personifies, kinda, wisdom & folly. Enjoy.
“Knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
Proverbs 9:10
Wisdom has built her house. She has hewn out its 7 pillars. She has prepared her meat & mixed her wine. Sh has also set her table. She has sent out her maids, & she calls from the highest point of the city.
“Let all who are simple come in here!” She says to those who lack judgment. “Come, eat my food & drink the wine I’ve mixed. Leave your simple ways & you’ll live; walk in the way of understanding. Whoever corrects a mocker invites insult. Whoever rebukes a wicked man incurs abuse.”
“Don’t rebuke a mocker or he’ll hate you. Rebuke a wise man & he’ll love you. Instruct a wise man & he’ll be wiser still. Teach a righteous man & he’ll add to his learning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”
“For through me, your days will be many, & years will be added to your life. If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you. If you’re a mocker, you alone will suffer.”
The woman Folly is loud. She’s undisciplined & without knowledge. She sits at the door of her house, on a seat at the highest point of the city, calling out to those who pass by, who go straight on their way.
“Let all who are simple come in here!” She says to those who lack judgment. “Stolen water is sweet. Food eaten in secret is delicious!” But little do they know that the dead are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.
