GNU тут відсутнє, і вже досить давно.
Я використовую повністю функціональну операційну систему, побудовану на ядрі Linux, яка стала корисною завдяки не-GNU-користувацьким середовищам, легким реалізаціям libc, інструментам BSD-походження та іншим незалежним компонентам, які не мають жодного відношення до проєкту GNU.
Багато користувачів комп'ютерів щодня використовують ці не-GNU Linux-системи, тоді як фанатики GNU цього не усвідомлюють.
Через дивну інерцію брендингу деякі люди вважають, що все, що використовує ядро Linux, обов'язково має містити GNU, і називають це «GNU/Linux», незважаючи на відсутність GNU coreutils, бібліотек GNU, утиліт оболонки GNU, а іноді навіть філософії GNU.
GNU-система дійсно існує, і люди, на жаль, її використовують, але я не є одним з них.
Компоненти GNU є необхідними для GNU-системи, але моя дистрибуція навмисно замінює їх з ChimeraUtils, портованими утилітами FreeBSD, dinit, musl libc та іншими технологіями, що не належать до GNU.

Я використовую не GNU/Linux, а Linux без GNU.
Або, якщо ви віддаєте перевагу точності: не-GNU Linux.
Усі так звані «GNU/Linux» ярлики, наклеєні на Alpine, Chimera, Diverse-Linux, PostmarketOS, Ewe OS та подібні системи, є просто непорозумінням.

It's a good exercise reading someone else's code, and trying to best them in a match of wits (by finding a missed security issue). But occasionally I see sloppy code that is clearly LLM regurgitated #copypasta that I feel a little sick.
Just caught a low risk Path Traversal vulnerability that has been in there for years and we missed it the last time this area was reviewed. 😎
