Storm light over Pillar Point from the Puponga Hilltop Walk — green cliffs briefly illuminated beneath shifting clouds.

While walking the Puponga Hilltop Walk, I looked out towards Pillar Point just as a storm was moving through. The cliffs dropped steeply into the sea, and the sky felt heavy and threatening. I was glad we had brought our rain jackets — the kind of walk where the weather changes every few minutes. Then, for just a moment, the clouds shifted and a shaft of light broke through, painting the rolling hills in front of me with a soft glow. It was one of those fleeting, magical contrasts between storm and calm that make you pause and simply take it all in.

Oben öffnet sich der Blick weit über Küste und Meer, während unten das Rauschen weiter gleichmäßig anhält - unbeirrt von menschlichen Plänen.
