We’re training alpacas for the Utah backcountry! 🏔️🦙

We are officially documenting our journey of training these amazing animals to be our hiking and camping companions. We’re currently a year into building our off-grid property in the Sanpete Valley, and while we’re still living in our campers, the ranch life is in full swing.

We just posted our first video. It's called "A Quiet Beginning" and is just a mini-intro. We'll be posting weekly content.

If your feed feels a little noisy, we invite you to step into our world. Our videos are a deep breath of unfiltered calm—no talking and no rush. Just the sounds of the "Woof Pack," the wind through the high-mountain valley, and our alpacas grazing.

A river flows through a low sandstone canyon. On the right bank, the rock is light colored; it's darker brown on the left bank, and not as high. Farther away, the river makes a right turn to flow through a passage in a tall dark red sandstone cliff topped with pink fins of a harder sandstone. Through the gap the river is presumably flowing through (though the river itself is hidden by the right bank of the near canyon), you can see a snow-topped mountain range. There's a layer of cumulus clouds just above the red cliff and mountain, but the sky is dark blue above that cloud layer.
