#Ambassador class USS Sruighlea NCC-27315 ready to depart Spacedock. Sruighlea is the Gaelic name for the Scottish city Stirling. All the “off” windows are now filled with the black gel pen. I’ve used a hair dryer to try and help the ink dry faster, but I’ll still wait a few days to be sure (I’ve made the mistake in the past of touching a model even a day after using the dryer to end up with smudge marks). Scraping windows out of the #Ambassador model is a joy compared to doing it on a #Galaxy model. There are just as many windows but it seems easier. Next I’ll fill the “off” windows with a black gel pen. #StarTrek #AmbassadorClass #Federation #Starship #ScaleModels #ModelBuilder #MKMModelwerx

Main paintwork done on the #AmbassadorClass saucer. It came out a bit more subtle than I had planned, especially on the top but it’s fine. I also painted the phaser arrays. New arrival. 1/1400 scale Enterprise-C re-release. This kit has translucent plastic which means no more drilling out windows, woohoo!
