in my feed i see independent artists and #vegan restaurants #advertising their businesses. i don't think that is against the rules of mastodon.social, nor against the spirit of #mastodon.

the post is not a paid #advertisement that server admins were bribed to shove into your feed, but something that was boosted by someone you follow because they wanted to share where you can find #vegan bicycle tires or a workshop that prioritizes products that are #crueltyfree.

or maybe they liked the drawings?

in the past i have also posted some home repair tips. i can post more of these if you like. i have 4 year bicycle mechanic education which i am happy to share skills from. thanks for suggesting that.
