An outdoor, daylight photograph of the aft part of the Space Shuttle. The vertical stabilizer is on top of the frame, with a bulging pod on either side with a small engine nozzle at the end with small thruster holes on the side. In the center of the Shuttle’s aft are the three bell-shaped nozzles of the Space Shuttle Main Engines. The aft section is covered in black-coated ceramic tiles. Part of the port side is visible, with the words, “United States” visible on the fuselage. A crane emerging from the right part of the frame allows a hose to be connected from the Shuttle to a vehicle behind.
