Turns out #vlc can actually play the `.insv` files from #insta360 #insta360x4 it just doesn't know how to warp them.

There has to be some kind of #opensource project that handles this?

I've been running some VR-based streaming experiments for when I finally have time to stream again and want to play some VR games. So I picked this up for the eclipse, but honestly I'm going to just keep using it because it's really neat. It's called the Kandao QooCam Ego, and it's a stereo stereoscopic 3D/VR camera. Only like $300 too! Way better than the iPhone 15 too, since the lenses are far enough apart to actually give some sense of depth so there isn't a weird blurriness or shimmer on one eye in sub-optimal lighting. Limited to 1080p though, and the battery isn't fantastic. Still, real cool
