@SecondUniverse As I understand the Australian ban, they're specifically banning some of the major sites: "Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, X (formerly Twitter) and Kick" per www.cbc.ca/news/world/au-social-ban-begins-9.7007357 -- fedi isn't on the ban list, so it may be a boost for the fediverse actually?

We recently came across an amazing project called uBlockOrigin & uBlacklist Huge AI Blocklist.

As they describe it, it's:

A huge blocklist of manually curated sites (1000+) that contain AI generated content, for the purposes of cleaning image search engines (Google Search, DuckDuckGo, and Bing) with uBlock Origin or uBlacklist.

There's something really lovely at the top of the uBlock Origin filter list, just under the description, that brought us a small bit of very-much-needed joy, and we wanted to share it here with others 🫶

Just discovered part of my HRT has been discontinued due to an AI note taking error. Gynae did not say discontinue, and I have letters to prove it. Now I may have to be without testosterone until this is proven, which may mean another 6 month wait to resee a gynaecologist via NHS. Hopefully my letters will suffice, but currently unclear.

I am beyond furious. Also, wow. Fuck living in this dystopia.
