We recently came across an amazing project called uBlockOrigin & uBlacklist Huge AI Blocklist.

As they describe it, it's:

A huge blocklist of manually curated sites (1000+) that contain AI generated content, for the purposes of cleaning image search engines (Google Search, DuckDuckGo, and Bing) with uBlock Origin or uBlacklist.

There's something really lovely at the top of the uBlock Origin filter list, just under the description, that brought us a small bit of very-much-needed joy, and we wanted to share it here with others 🫶

! HAPPY PRIDE MONTH

! Please support authentic artists! Whether it be commissions or donations, an amount of any size helps!

! I love you.

! Keep your chin up--we will get through this together <33

Please reply telling me how much you enjoy talking over disabled people, and I will gratefully block you.

I have to deal with enough shit from neurotypicals and society while battling homelessness. Go run your toxic purity tests elsewhere. AI is currently saving my life. You are—as you come at me trying to make me feel bad for not giving up—actively working to end it.

Your rage reminds me that the world is cruel and wants me dead. And I refuse to die, no matter how much you try to make me want to kill myself.

Seriously, if this is you, the kindest thing you can do for me is fuck off and let actual humans who care about other humans and not only about virtue signaling have a say.

Well that sucks - I created a new subdomain on Sunday, and even though I haven't configured a website for it yet or advertised or linked to it anywhere (it's purely in DNS records), I've already got 78 unique IPs within 24 hours, doing HTTP requests for the domain.

These are not IP scans (which I would expect), but HTTP requests that include the new domain name.

It's not even just being nosey at the root level, there are also requests for "../../../xxxxx" and login pages etc.

Only 3 of them are IPv6.

If anyone wants a list, I can provide it.

These addresses are extra ones that are not blocked by the great lists provided by
@stratosphere , as they are filtered out already.

@chris I wonder whether anyone has had any experience using block lists? I just found this one, for example, but I must warn you that I have no idea whether this is a legit one. Maybe another user can answer that question?
