NORTHLAND FORECAST FOR JANUARY 30, 2026:
The #Northland will see bitter #cold #temperatures Thursday night with most lows in the teens and 20s below zero thanks to mostly #clear skies. #Windchill readings at times could be as low as -35°.
An #arctic high-pressure system will #clear away the clouds Friday. Highs will be in the single digits and low teens with light #winds.

The #Northland will see one more bitter #cold night Sunday night with #windchill readings in the -30° to -45° range under mostly #clear skies and light #winds.
Monday will see #temperatures #warm to the single digits above zero for highs. It comes with #breezy southwest winds as a #clipper system will bring light #snow #showers by the afternoon.

This is day three of the #arctic #cold snap across the #Northland.
Sunday morning started off well below average with low #temperatures.
At least we have lighter #winds, so #windchill readings are as bad as Friday morning.
This threat does continue through Monday morning.

The 9PM weather: Billings 2°, -19° wind chill. Glendive -18°, -36° wind chill. Williston ND -25°, -52° wind chill! I had to put on a coat for the FIRST time this winter! This calls for hot chocolate at work. Make it a double.
