I am not a fan of networking/social events where in general I know no one but need to interact with people. It's a skill I'm reluctantly exercising. Sort of like when I hauled my fat ass to the gym to lose weight so I wouldn't have a heat attack at 50 like my dad. This time, it's hauling my skinnier ass out in public to hopefully make a connection with someone who will donate money or a book to save the life of an Oklahoma kid.
