I have not seen the numbers , but I suspect #vibecode has actually LESS common #infosec exploits because of the nature of #llm...

...however, I am also pretty sure vibecode may have more NOVEL exploits.

I certainly liked 4.5 too.
But I found the context rot, esp. On #vibecode issues super annoying.

I'm finding I'm using the dumber model (Sonnet) on routine tasks, since 1st Jan, #anthropic compute limits have gotten insane. I got the PRO plan and unless I manage it carefully, I keep running out of weekly limits!

Its gotten so bad, I have begun using ChatGpt for non-project, casual work. I'm finding their compute generous, even on public plan. That sweet sweet billions of dollars VC bath is reflected in compute.

As to your comment on #AI firms allegedly using AI to advance their development.

I do not doubt it, it certainly x10 my work.
Remembering Altman said their goal is to develop AI RESEARCHERS.

For some reason I've always thought of it as a binary outcome... NO RESEARCHERS - > RESEARCHERS...
But of course it's progressive!

Yesterday, I came across a GitHub repo with an #FastAPI project template for authorization. It was #vibecode by an engineer in a mid-size company building software for government websites. Just a cursory glimpse into the codebase revealed the utter deep shit we are in.

How can we handle this? How can society handle this? This company will write code for websites that we potentially trust our credentials with. Users cannot see what happens underneath. #AI is a #war against society.

I just used Claude Code to make a 3D model for the first time. It made a scad file based off a sketch I drew. It took 1 minute 52 seconds. Delightful. Now I get it. #claudecode #vibecode #3dprinting
